About the role
You will build the services behind the Forecite API and WebSocket feed — the surface thousands of trading systems depend on. Correctness and latency are the product.
What you'll do
- Design and ship API features end-to-end, from schema to SDK.
- Keep P95 end-to-end latency under 50 ms while subscriber count grows.
- Harden the WebSocket layer: reconnects, ordering, replay.
- Review code across the platform team and raise the bar as you go.
What we're looking for
- Strong TypeScript or Rust in production settings.
- You have owned a service with real uptime expectations.
- Instinct for API design that people don't have to read docs twice for.
